Assuming this is my comeback post (since I don't want to disappoint myself), here are some of the important and (as Lily from How I Met Your Mother series would call it) "big moments" in my life so far.
As you might remember, I've been working and studying simultaneously during my first year of teaching. I also had to juggle reviews and leisure time during last year's summer vacation. All of these sacrifices for... the board exams.
We had to go back to work and were introduced to the new teachers :) We had this "#FunDay" where we had to prepare for our team yell, presentations, and games (reminds me of HS Intrams haha).
Here's a picture of me with my two friends/workmates (since training days :D) Yes, this year, we belong to different teams.
Our team's cheerdance haha!
I still had the chance to work with this very fun department :) #ItsAlwaysAGoodTime
My Saturdays and Sundays from June to September of 2013 were spent on reviewing. Not enough sleep on Fridays, early morning commute on Saturdays, afternoon bus rides from Manila to Pampanga, and doing the same thing again on Sundays... It was really hard, but definitely worth it. The picture above are my TCP classsmates, we've been together since summer of 2012 to the week before the board exams of September 2013. Whew!
This is what I learned from my review experiences... kept me going.
My Saturday and Sunday mornings then... I call this, "the routine." Yes, "unhealthy" I must say.
And hail to my post-Thomasian experience! Suspension of classes on a Sunday? Why not? Haha! Typhoon, dark clouds, Manila flood, and hassle commute.
All my studying and reviewing were nothing compared to his greatness! Sooooo blessed.
Few months after... Here's the result. #Blessed indeed :)
Celebration time for the good results! :) #LETPassers
I am just so proud of my advisory class :) and their joined efforts in making this possible :D
This year, they had the chance to visit universities in Manial... including my Alma Mater :)
My students also got the chance to interact with the grandparents in Bahay Pag-ibig.
Of course I can't forget the food trips I had with my workmates turned friends for keeps.
Came the wonderful surprise that my students gave me for #TeachersDay (They made a video for me, still re-looking for the link.)
Then my students designed their very own banner for their Intrams. #GreenGiants
We had our Faculty Retreat in Mt. Peniel with Pastor Ru.
Then, it was busy again...but everything's fine because I have them :)
My very own Cum Gaudio Club organized their own simple Christmas Party (with Truth or Dare) Haha! So Cute!
Pretending to be one of Andres Bonifacio's men in Biak-na-Bato in San Miguel, Bulacan. #Grade7ExposureTrip
My grandparents celebrated their diamond wedding anniversary :) #Fabros
Catched up with super late conversations with my HS friends :)
My sister graduated with latin honors :) Sooo proud of her! #BigMoment
I miss them a lot.
