Outbound (Lakbay) guide and workmates during the bird watching activity.
The place is still being developed and is open for everyone. During the lecture, it was said that Balanga developed from a 4th class city into a 2nd class city. Plus, they are implementing a "No Smoking" policy. Such a great city!
We also visited "Amanda's," the "bagoong" supplier of Mang Inasal and Chowking (there's another one...I forgot). We had to wear boots and haircaps/nets as entered the production area.
This has got to be one of my favorite market places so far. It's so organized and clean! Kudos Tortugas, Balanga City for coming up with this great idea! In the picture: Teacher Nike treated us with ice candies *happy kid dance*
Had to take a picture here because I found my surname haha!
While we're having our pictures taken, a vendor of ""bubbles" passed by. Thus, the appearance of bubbles here.
The Kapampangan spirit in us... we ate lunch at Dulang Balanga Branch
Tanato River in Balanga
River wading at the refreshing and relaxing waters of Tanato River
We also visited the Organic Farming Center but I don't have a picture for that. Overall, we enjoyed the trip and we can't wait to see the Intermediate students to experience this trip! I have relatives in Bataan, and we often go to Balanga, if not for this trip, I wouldn't see the city's beauty. Lesson learned: Don't take the places around you for granted. Explore them and discovery their beauty.
